Turnice Pender Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2020, at the age of 89, Turnice Pender of Blythewood, South Carolina, born in Winnsboro, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Turner Pope and Gussie Mae Pope (Wilkes); her husband Douglas Ivon Pender Sr.; and her brother Marion Pope. She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Ivon Pender, Jr. (Dawn), Michael Edwin Pender (DiAnn), Steven Brent Pender (Tatia) and Mark James Pender (Bari); her siblings, Mary Frances Fulbright, William Pope (Alicia) and Hennies Pope (Becky); and her grandchildren, Lauren (Matthew), Douglas, III (Makayla), Joseph (Megan), Anna, Kristin, Megan, Lucas and Julia. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Social distancing will be implemented, and masks are required.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Bill Montague fund at Eau Claire Baptist Church, 4427 N. Main Street, Columbia, SC 29203.
