It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Truman Roper of Blythewood, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on February 12, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Harrison and Mary Chandler Roper; and his nephew Trey Horton. He is survived by: his wife Kay Wilson Roper; his children, Tee Roper (JJ) and Duffie Dilworth (Jason); his grandchildren, Holley Bowers (Austin), Jed Dilworth, Truman Roper, Morgan Dilworth and Kaydee Dilworth; and his sister Missy Horton (Chuck).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Arthritis Foundation, c/o Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, P.O. Box 96280, Washington, DC 20077; or to the ASPCA.
