It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Morris S. Clay Sr. of Blythewood, South Carolina, born in Neptune, New Jersey, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Lillie M. Vastie; his siblings, Vernon, Thomas, Glen, Marcellus, Conway, Donald and Hallie Clay; and his wife Geneva V. Clay.

He is survived by: his father Rex L. Clay, Sr.; his sons, Morris Jr., Michael (Risa), Paul (Letty) and Troy (Eunice); and also, Carole Oliver (LeRoy) and Paula Collins. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
