She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Lee Burnette and Floy Phillips Burnette of Greer, S. C.; her husband Chaplain W. Wayne Ballentine; and her siblings, Laurene Burnette, Etta Leonard and Don Burnette.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Ballentine, Cary Ballentine (Brenda), Ann Bishop (Steve) and Dennis Ballentine (Kellie); her grandchildren, Meghan Ballentine, Walter Ballentine, Brittany Bishop, Amanda Bishop and Mary Kathryn Ballentine; and her great grandchild Ansleigh Sanders.
