She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Miller H. and Bessie McNeill Mellette (late Charles Dupre Brown); and her siblings, Herbert, William Robert, Thomas, Dan and Naomi.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Harrigan (Joe) of Greenville, Alan Brown (Norma) of Columbia and Ronald Brown (Kate) of Troy; her grandchildren, Laura Brown, Michael Brown (Brittany), Chris Harrigan, Jenny Brown and Charles Harrigan; her great grandchildren, Kyler Brown and Liam Griffin; her brother Russell Mellette (Grace) of Lexington; and her sister-in-law Emily Jones of Myrtle Beach.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to North Trenholm Baptist Church.
