She was predeceased by: her father William Henry Smith; and her sister Sharon McElveen (Jo Anne Smith). She is survived by: her son Daniel Allen Knight Jr.; her daughter-in-law Kristen Knight; and her grandsons, William Blake Knight and Lucas Christian Knight.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Marcia's name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of her grandson Blake.
