He is survived by: his parents, Lawrence Eugene Potter, Sr. and Joann Bundrick Potter; his wife Nancy Bouknight Potter; his children, Corey Andrew Potter (Ashley), Patrick Lawrence Potter, Caleb Darr Potter (Taylor) and Hannah Potter Nunez (Yanangel); his grandchildren, Claire, Blythe and Blaise Potter; and his sisters, Diane Hays (Mike) and Penny Horton (Preston).
