With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Briggs Bailey of Blythewood, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on February 11, 2021 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin C. Briggs and Emma Ree Childers Briggs. She is survived by: her husband Harry Bailey; her sons, John, Dallas and Donnie Bailey; her granddaughter Annalyse Bailey; her sisters, Roberta Newton (Steve), Debbie Cooper, Sandra Porter (Harold), Linda Torri (Tommy) and Paula Roberts (Dexter); and her close friends, Stephanie Meetze, Paulette Drafts, Dawn Loner, Jennifer Bledsoe, Linda Larsen, Angie Bowers and Alexis McLead. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
