He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest E. Raines and Mary Ellen "Polly" Mattox Raines; and his siblings, Jacqueline "Jackie" Raines Cooper and William "Billy" E. Raines. He is survived by: his wife Lynette Moore Raines; his sons, Jim Raines (Cristine) and Kevin Raines (Nancy); his grandchildren, Ashton Wedel (Derek), Jessica Raines, Lauren Raines, Hannah Raines and Matthew Raines; his sister Mary Ellen Raines Doble; and his brother-in-law T. Edward Cooper. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
