It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harper Leroy H. L. Mangum of Blythewood, South Carolina, born in Richland, South Carolina, who passed away on October 17, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Mangum and Kathryn Dent Mangum Scarborough; his wife Mary Thornton Mangum; his son Ronald Wayne Mangum, Sr.; and his brother Edward E. "Bud" Mangum.
He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Panarello (Frank) and Dennis Mangum (Lea); his grandchildren, Ronald Jr., Christopher, Kara Mangum, Joshua, Robert Mangum, Emily Mangum Walker (Lawrence), Paul (Amanda), Jason Perry, Joseph (LeeAnn), Matthew Panarello (Lauren) and Ashley Panarello Gilbert; his great grandchildren, Annabel, Adelyn Panarello, Trenton, Ashlyn Gilbert, Jackson Mangum, Brittney Turner (Joseph), Liam, Emma Perry, Alanna Mangum, Jamie Plunkett, Margaret and Robert Paul Perry IV; and his great great grandchild Briggs Turner.
Everyone is invited to attend but will be asked to abide by the state's recommendations of wearing masks and social distancing to provide a safe environment for all.
