He was predeceased by: his father George Lewis Gribler; his wife Jimmie Lou Folsom Gribler; his brothers, Leonard Gribler and Roy Gribler; and his niece Shirley Jacques (Ron).
He is survived by: his daughter Melody Cooke-McDuffie (Tony); his grandchildren, Mallory Cooke Bell (Chris), Madison Cooke, Patrick McDuffie (Leslie) and Amanda McDuffie Baldwin (Raford); his great grandchildren, Maddalyn Baldwin, Christina Baldwin, Henley McDuffie, Mariah Baldwin, Fitz Bell and Babs Bell; and his nieces, Iola Loftis (Don), Penny Thompsen and Lindy Kuehnl (Paul).
