It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Burns (Blythewood, South Carolina), born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Stevenson and Mae Belle Stephens Stevenson; her husband Floyd Burns, Sr.; her children, Doris Sutton-Davis, Harry Sutton, Claude Burns and Floyd Burns, Jr.; and her siblings, Willie Stevenson, Justine Stevenson, Mary A. Kennerly and Nina M. Stevenson.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Simpson, Jr. (Monnie) of Cope; and her grandchildren, Bridgett Burnette, Christopher M. Simpson, Justin N. Simpson, Reginald Davis, Timothy Davis, Derrick Davis and Calvin Davis. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and loving family and friends.
