He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Schroeder and Lillie Schroeder of Monroe; and his sister JoAnn Portteus. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his siblings, Susan Schroeder, Thomas Schroeder (Andrea) and Mary Gerweck (Keith); his niece Sarah of Michigan; his sister-in-law Joan Spencer Amado (Bener); and his nieces and nephews, Jodie Watson, Naomi, Hannah and Spencer Amado.
