She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward and Evelyn of Washington; her husband Oliver Neal; and her daughter Claudine of Washington. She is survived by: her sons, Mac and Deacon Melvin (Vivian) of Columbia, SC; and her nieces and nephews, Earl Johnson, Ernest Squirewell, Karen Peoples and Shiela Outing. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
