We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2020, at the age of 83, William Roe (Bluffton, South Carolina), born in Teaneck, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Nancy H. Roe; and his brother Eugene Roe. He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth Jones Roe; his children, Kristy Ernst (Kelly Ernst), John Roe, Kellie Kenny (Brian Kenny) and Kathryn Munsterman (Dennis Munsterman); his grandchildren, Kiley Ernst, Kyle Roe, Kamryn Roe, Maeve Kenny, Owen Kenny and Trevor Munsterman; his sister Kathy; his brother-in-law Ken Horton; his nephew Marshall Horton; and his nieces, Andrea Horton and Kate Judson.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to the Wounded warrior Foundation at https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org or Maranatha Farm an animal rescue going to the aid of animals that are hurt, abused or abandoned, and making them into healthy companions to be adopted.

“Billy and I started Kindergarten together at Lowell School, Teaneck, NJ in September, 1941. We were friends throughout grimmer school, Junior High School and High School, graduating from Teaneck High School in 1954. We remained close friends throughout the summers of our college years but our marriages and careers separated us by geography, however that geographic separation never severed the bonds of our relationship that was forged during those early years.
