He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Lahm and Catherine Lahm; his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Anita of Manchester, NJ; his sister Kathy Michalewsky of Bluffton, SC.; and his daughters, Karen Bernard (Mike) of Colorado, Kristen Neimith (Chris) of New York and Suzanne Schug of Michigan. He was also cherished by his six grandchildren.
