With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Refenes of Bluffton, South Carolina, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on December 27, 2020 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Virginia Refenes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond Miesch and Freda Wilker Miesch; and her husband Bill Refenes. She is survived by: her children, James Refenes, William Refenes, Thomas Refenes and Susan Refenes. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Due to the current pandemic, a private memorial service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hendersonville, NC.
