He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Blume Parnell; his sons, Robert Parnell (Tonya Wisemiller Parnell) of Windermere, FL and Rhett Parnell (Meagan Knorr Parnell) of Bluffton, SC.; his sister LaBonney Parnell Taylor of Chicago, IL; and his granddaughters, Kimberly, Hannah and Abigail.
