He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Mitrook and Margaret Gertrude Caswell. He is survived by: his wife Ursula; his children, Michael and Monica (Gardner); his children-in-law, Lindsey and Lee; his grandchildren, Gabby, Ava, Maggie, Kate, David, William, Matthew and Emery; and his brothers, Rusty, Rick (Noni) and Rob (Karen).
