Platt Sr. of Bluffton, South Carolina, born in Trenton, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 12, 2024 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Platt and Ruth Platt (Fisher). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Platt (Hawley); his children, Debbie Golab (Gene) of Bluffton, SC, Karen Stearle of Henderson, NV and Robert J Platt Jr. of Reno, NV; his granddaughter Nicole Wong (David) of Savannah, GA; his extended family, Zachary Golab (Lauren) of Charleston, SC, Ryan and Matthew Stearle of Henderson, NV; his great grandchildren, Jackson and Sydney Wong; and his siblings, Janet Thompson (Walter) and Charles T Platt of Henderson, NV. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
