He is survived by: his children, TaMeeka Latrice Hamilton (Johnny Mitchell) and Robert Lee Hamilton Jr. Both of Bluffton, SC.; his siblings, Michael Edward Hamilton (Selma) and Ethelmae Cohen (James) of Bluffton, SC.; his siblings-in-law, Maria Shippey and Lethan Shippey; his aunts, Albertha Hamilton and Martha Phoenix of Bluffton, SC.; his close friends, Julius Shaw, JC Frazier and Henry Green; his cousin Robert Lee Jenkins; his aunt Mary Fields; and his niece Santina A. Walker. He is also survived by 5 nephews 3 nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.
