Rick Gennett Obituary
Rick Frederick Gennett passed away peacefuly on November 30, 2021 in Charleston, SC after a long illness. He was born in Hempstead, NY on September 20, 1960 and lived in Hicksville, NY, Dumont, NJ, Daytona Beach FL & Bluffton, SC. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Gennett, sister, Christine Danyov, Niece, Cameron Danyov, Nephew, Quentin Danyov, Brother-in-Law Michael Danyov, Aunt Lynda Woods, and his cousin Jennifer Gammon as well as many relatives and friends.
He loved motorcycles and muscle cars and was a gifted, certified Harley Davidson mechanic. He also worked on the NASCAR circuit. He loved R & B and rock'n'roll music, especially the Rolling Stones and the Allman Bros. He was a strong, yet soft spoken man who had a big heart, was very loyal, generous, kind, empathetic, and compassionate .
Rick had a wacky sense of humor, liked to tease & play jokes and made us laugh. He loved and adored his family and friends. We will miss him so much. Service will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton, SC 29910.
