He is survived by: his wife Ellie Zintl Murray; his children, Jean Custer (Richard) of Goldsboro, NC, Raymond Murray, Jr. (Donna) of Advance, NC, Pat Carter (David) of Advance, NC and Sharon Peele (Eddie) of Clayton, NC.; his siblings, Virginia Gill, Fred Murray of Raleigh, NC. and Eric Murray of Raleigh, NC.; his former wife Joyce Crocker Bachman; his daughters, Stacey Bachman and Meredith Loy; and his pet Molly Anna Murray. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
