He was predeceased by: his parent Leo Burgess; his daughter Kimberly Pasquale (Burgess); and his brother Lee Burgess. He is survived by: his parent Nida Burgess (Davis); his sons, Greg Burgess (Vanna) of Cincinnati, OH, Paul Burgess of Lexington, KY and James Burgess (Ashley) of Charlottesville, VA; his grandchildren, Shelley Kumpf (David), Jessica Bevington, Mark Burgess (Stephanie), Angela Bevington, Randall Bevington, John Burgess and Samuel Burgess; and his great grandchildren, Sean Kirtz, Coen Kumpf and Elliot Kumpf. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
