He is survived by: his wife Patricia Snyder Ruth; his sons, Jeffrey Ruth (LeeAnn) of Moore, SC and Thomas Ruth (Katie) of Bluffton, SC.; and his siblings, Charles F. Ruth (Ursula Baker) and Mary Francis Ruth McElroy.
