She was predeceased by: her parents, Dojie Lee Bennett, Sr. and Elsie Bennett; her husband William Holmes; and her sister Betty Jean Bennett. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Bennett Crowder (Kenneth), Yolanda Holmes and Anthony Holmes (Thania); her siblings, Dojie Lee Bennett, Jr. and Dianne Bennett Cummings; her grandchildren, Dantae Crowder, Justin Crowder, Antoine Lilly, Carmen Perez Rojas and Joanne Perez; her great grandchildren, Amyah Crowder, Nascir Cross, Dylan Walker, Jonathan Rojas and Adrinna Rojas; her nieces, Katherine Bennett Hiller, Desiree Bennett Tolbert, Kia Parker Mitchell, LaTisha Brown, Robin Lockett and Pia Chafin Eugene; her friends, Leona Bragg, Joyce Fortson, Lamont, Martha Saunders, Ethel Brown, Doris Ostrow and Arnetta Duncan; and her godson Idris Saunders. She is also survived by cousins and extended family.
