He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Rhett and Elmine Riley Patrick; and his brother Nelson Patrick. He is survived by: his wife Selma Brown Patrick; his nieces, Carmen Willson (Don), Brandy Metts (Loren) and Mandy Corbett (Bryan); and his nephew Ward Patrick.
