It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelda Fowler Rutland of Bluffton, South Carolina, born in Longview, Texas, who passed away on April 5, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Fowler and Ophelia Rodgers Fowler; and her husband S. L. Rutland, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Williams (Bob), Carol Ellis (Steve), Dana Rutland (Esther), Jill Ciechanowski (Kenny) and James Rutland (Vickie). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
