We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2024, at the age of 77, Myree Layne Flanagan in Bluffton, South Carolina, born in Minot, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Myree Layne farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Myree Layne is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Milo Lokken and Myrtle Lokken; her husband David Flanagan Sr.; and her sisters, Marlene Gunderson and Mona Lokken.

She is survived by: her children, Angela Metz (George) and David Flanagan (Jen); and her siblings, Marianne Hawk (Craig) and Myron Lokken (Kathy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and five grandchildren.
