She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lee "Jimmie" Ballard and Willie Beatrice Shehan Ballard; her husband John Rollie Childers, Sr.; and her siblings, Lunette B. Deese, Beatrice B. Bolin, Emmie B. Brown, Palmer R. "Pam" Ballard and Kenlow J. "Jack" Ballard.
She is survived by: her children, MaLinda B. Swett, Randall "Randy" L. Blue, Jr. (Tania), Kathy B. Griffis (Phil), Crystal B. Casler (Mike), Markie C. Banks (Ben) and Diana C. Hammond; her sister Marcella B. "Teenie" Neal; and her sister-in-law Diane Ballard. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
