She is survived by: her husband Roberts Vaux; her children, Mary Gwinn Hayes (John) of Spartanburg, SC, Emily Burden (Chris) of Bluffton, Tabor Vaux (Erin) of Bluffton and Anna Pepper Hewett (Jason) of Bluffton; her brother George Bolen (Mary Lee) of Salem, SC; her grandchildren, Rollins Hayes, Audrey, Hayne, Wyatt, Faye Burden, Roberts, Ella Vaux, Addison, Pepper, Vivian and Mills Hewett; and her nieces, Jennifer McNaughton (Sloan) of Charlotte, NC. and Elizabeth Cox (Keith) of Charlotte, NC..
A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Church of the Cross (110 Calhoun St, Bluffton, SC 29910). A reception was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Heyward House (70 Boundary St, Bluffton, SC 29910).
