Kocurek of Bluffton, South Carolina, born in Ithaca, New York, who passed away on July 30, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John McClay Hatton and Kathryn Lucille Hatton. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Michael J. Kocurek; her sister Monica A. Hatton of Stevens Point; her children, Monica Gilroy (Peter), Anne Margaret Kelly (Henry) of Atlanta Georgia and Mike (Zack); and her grandchildren, Kathryn Hatton Gilroy of Atlanta, Charlotte Rowan Gilroy of Atlanta and Joseph McClay Kelly of Atlanta.
She traveled the world, with favorites being England, Ireland, France, China, Italy, British Columbia, and was devastated when COVID ended her love of finding a good deal on a last-minute Caribbean cruise or fast trip to Las Vegas, Beau Rivage, or Harrah's Cherokee.
