He is survived by: his parent Helen Porter Bernhard; his wife Jennifer Bernhard; his children, Jim Bernhard (Ann), Deanna Carls (John), Dawn Kozminski (Mike), Graham English (Katie) and Brian English (Ana); his brothers, Ken Bernhard and Ted Bernhard; his grandchildren, Chelsea Smith (Andy), Nicole Butler (Brett), Karli Ramadhan (Zach), Elliot English, Gabriel English, Desmond English and Eve English; and his great grandchildren, Cole Smith, Chase Smith and Jalen Ramadhan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Heart Association or any charity of choice.
