Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joseph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William Hajek and Mary Magdalene Hajek; and his sister Mary Joan Rusconi. He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Carta Hajek; his sons, William Joseph (Beth) and Robert Carl; and his brother Thomas James. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
