He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dittle and Lucille Dittle (Capponi); and his siblings, Frances Pohar and John "Jack" Dittle. He is survived by: his wife Linda Faye Haislip; his children, Marc Dittle (Mareesa), Leanne Michels (Jonathan) and Lori Cullen (Matthew); and his grandchildren, Taylor, Emily, Alex, Sean and Evan.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Port Royal Sound Maritime Foundation Center where Jerry loved to visit.
