She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas Newton and Eula Weathers Newton of Lawrenceburg, TN; her husband Jerome "Jerry" Allen Cook; and her brother William "Tommy" Thomas Newton, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Jerome "Jerry" Allen Cook, Jr. of Bluffton, SC and John Thomas Cook of Apex, NC; her grandchildren, Jerome "Jerry" Allen Cook III and Clarice Marie Cook of Cary, NC; and her great grandchildren, Devin Cook and Chloe Cook.
