He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Szarka and Alex Szarka; and his brothers, Alex and Charles Szarka. He is survived by: his wife Rita Chietera; his daughter Jeanine Szarka Addimando; his son-in-law Louis Addimando; his grandson Anthony Addimando; and his daughter Christina Szarka.
