He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest LaGoy and Janette LaGoy (Rushia); his parents-in-law, Henry and Geraldine Young; his sister Carol Palmer; and his brothers-in-law, Harold and Henry.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Young; his sister Glenda Dockum (Rod) of Jay, NY.; his children, James LaGoy (Donna) of Palm City, FL, Julie Stine (Greg) of Port St, Karen McCormick (Richard) of Rutherfordton, NC and Michael LaGoy (Kelley) of Hillsborough, NC.; and his pet Peaches. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
