It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Friederike Hermine Looser of Bluffton, South Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Ulrich "Uli" Looser; her daughters, Caren J. Looser-Geiger and Audrey J. Looser-Pahlavan; her granddaughter Ava Petal Pahlavan; her sister Hannelore Heyeck; her nephews, Thor, Erik and Curt Heyeck; and her parents, Alma Hufgard and Wilhelm Hufgard.
She knitted her way through untold skeins of yarn, which she transformed into the most beautiful blankets, scarves, hats, gloves, barbie clothes, and more — often for charity.
