He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan "John" Koziel and Ludwika "Lucy" Koziel; his daughter Karen Paris; and his siblings, Genevieve Anderssons, Helen Burke and Stanley Koziel.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Wolczanski; his children, Kathleen Kelvington (Richard) of Waldorf, Maryland and Edward Koziel (Sarah) of Gambrills, Maryland; his son-in-law James Paris of Matthews, N. C.; and his grandchildren, Alyssa Kelvington, Jillian Paris, Ansley Paris, James Paris, Craig Koziel and Andrew Koziel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
