He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rose Jones and Carlen Jones; his former wife Jeanne Ashley Jones; his wife Sherry Dunaway Jones of Bradenton Florida; his children, Robert S. Jones, Jr. (Kim) of Bluffton and Nancy Ashley Jones of Charleston; his brother Albert W. Jones (Betty) of Signal Mountain, Tennessee; and his grandson Cooper of Bluffton. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the MUSC Children's Hospital Fund for use in the medical transport program.
