He was predeceased by: his mother Birdie Yelverton Mistoler; his sister Frances Lou Mistoler Thompson; his niece Julia Sue Thompson; and his siblings, Jimmy Dean Yelverton, Betty Jean Mistoler Irving and Marsha Gail Mistoler Reid.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Roughen Mistoler; his sons, Stephen Michael Mistoler (Ana Chavarro) and Garrett Patrick Mistoler; and his siblings, Mary Sue Mistoler Johnson, Leonard Havis Mistoler and Carolyn Ann Mistoler.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel (4605 US-80, Savannah, GA 31410). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Bonaventure Cemetery (330 Bonaventure Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
