He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Walter and Irene Mabel Mast Potts; his siblings, Raymond Potts and Marjorie Blakeney; his former wife Martha Lou Potts; and his wife Joanne Potts.
He is survived by: his sons, Raymond D. Potts (Russell Anne) of Walterboro, SC and Ralph B. Potts of Fredericksburg, VA; his grandchildren, Courtney Potts of Bluffton, SC, Cameron Potts (Jillian) of West Hills, CA and Kendall Potts of McGregor, MN; and his great grandchildren, Morgan Congleton, Wyatt Potts and Ruby Potts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
