It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clyde William Fender Jr. of Bluffton, South Carolina, born in Walterboro, South Carolina, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde William Fender and Merle Dandrige Fender; and his sisters, Betty Scott, Florence Mason and Helen Dooley.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn E. Graves Fender; his sons, Clayton William (Myrtis), Carey Lawrence and Casey Eugene; his grandchildren, Cameron William, Ethan Clyde, Ansleigh Madison, Jamison Avery and Aubrey Lorelei; his siblings, Mary Caligiuri, John Fender (Teri), Anne Hicks (Billy), Susie Padgett (Roy), Jenny Hoats (Carroll), Mike Fender (Sandy) and Barbara Bennett (Donnie); and his siblings-in-law, Larry Graves (Susan) and Genie Knight (Perry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the local humane society or the Alee Shriners Hospital Transportation Fund (Morris Slotin Fund).
