It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Smith (Bluffton, South Carolina), born in Bethel, Vermont, who passed away on March 16, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrestine Scammell and John Stanley Scammell; her former husband Stephen Carr of Barre, VT; and her brother Bob. She is survived by: her spouse Dr. Thomas Smith; her sons, Damon (Denise) and Colin (Megan); her grandchild NJ; her sister Elaine; and her brother-in-law Dave. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
