It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Llewellyn Hershfeld Lau of Bluffton, South Carolina, who passed away on July 5, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Ann Llewellyn departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Ann Llewellyn. Though Ann Llewellyn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Phillip, Barbara and Helen.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gettysburg College, Hospice Care of the Lowcountry or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

“Very saddened, Ann Lau was Sun City, as one of the originals she loved Sun City and golf. When I moved here 10 years ago, she immediately got me involved in this wonderful community with different social positions. She was my mentor. There was not a community party she did not attend. She golfed, she held on as long as she could. She always had encouraging words and such a positive attitude. She was not a quitter. Ann, I will miss you and your very kind words always. Sheila Fraley”
