She was predeceased by: her mothers, Callie Amos Sours, Jr. and Florence Oleta Watts Sours; her husband Gordon Leigh Nelson; and her son Gordon Scott Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Barry Nelson and Amy Nelson of Bluffton, SC; and her granddaughter Callie Nelson of Maryland.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to THE AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS (ASPCA).
