He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Talmadge Martin and Virginia "Helen" Moore Martin; his wife Betty Ann Martin; and his son Julius Talmadge "Trey" Martin III. He is survived by: his children, Mary Martin of Bennettsville, Ginger Hamer (Jason Boggs) of Bennettsville and Steven B. Martin (Barry Nance) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Allison Plaisted (Dane) of Longs, Travis Martin (Krista) of Florence, Christopher Hamer (Ashley) of Blenheim, Rhyan Cantwell (Jacob) of Clio and Nichoas Hamer (Rebecca) of Fayetteville; his great grandchildren, Selah, Jett and Brooks Martin; and his grandchildren, Kade Cantwell, Peyton and Eli Hamer. He is also survived by many other relatives and his church family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 124 Arcadia Rd, Blenheim, SC 29516. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at the Burroughs Funeral Home of Bennettsville (688 Beauty Spot Rd E, Bennettsville, SC 29512).
