He was predeceased by: his father Johnny "Bang" Williams Sr.; his son Larry of Washington; and his siblings, Mildred Williams, Louise Bodiford, Agnes Tyler Donaldson, Mary Green, Ruth Morrell and Willie Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Alden (Cathy) of Washington, Dale Williams (Ann), Ronald Williams (Michelle), Scott Williams (Dionne), Terrence Williams (Regina), Sabrina Davis (Reginald), Michelle Stroman (Timothy) and Tracy; his brother Johnny Williams Jr. (Patricia); his niece Cynthia Tyler; his nephew Ernest "Clayton" Tyler; and his caregiver Vernice Johnson. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
