She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Parrott and Sarah "Mae" Wilson Parrott; her son Ranny Garland Shelton; and her daughter-in-law Terri Shelton. She is survived by: her husband Riley T. Shelton, Sr.; her children, Joy Avera (Mark) of North Charleston, SC, Steve Shelton (Lorraine) of Aiken, SC and Riley Thurman Shelton, Jr. (Debbie) of Hartwell, GA; her daughter-in-law Debbie Shelton of Simpsonville, SC; her grandchildren, Heath Shelton (Elizabeth), Heather Shelton, Holly Clements (Brian), Scott Shelton, Laci Gault (Chris), Ashlee Lemon, Luke Shelton, Parker Avera (Katie), Shelton Avera, Caroline Swift (Brooks), Emily Avera and Sarah Avera; and her great grandchildren, Handley, Hollin, Max, Brody, Gavin, Riley, E. B., Lucy and Hendrix.
